This December, I dabbled in the art of time travel...

As a member of DAVID CONISON + CO, I worked with a group of fellow artists to create a system of pills that enable time travel. For 2 weeks, we collaborated in devising a system for time travel, hand-made over 1000 pills, built a boutique, and opened up shop to the public for 4 nights.

The piece was presented as part of Immediate Medium's THE FUTURE AT THE END OF THE WORLD. Curated by Andy Horwitz of Culturebot, THE FUTURE... was a group performance event in which a variety of performance groups transformed empty rooms at the James A. Farley post office on 34th Street and created pieces about time, the future, and the end of the world.

You can learn more about the project here and here.

For the past month, I have been serving as dramaturg and script supervisor with the Project Girl Performance Collective on GIRL'S LIBERATION FRONT: PGPC'S brand new show premiering now in the NYC Fringe.

GIRL'S LIBERATION FRONT is made up of "stories from the front lines." A ground breaking call to action consisting of dance, song, and spoken word pieces written and performed by girls ages 8-21. Assembled in a series of workshops, this production will give audience a unique perspective on the status of women today. Girls tell their personal stories about bullying, sexual harassment, cutting, eating disorders, identity and racism.
